Zij komt daar terecht door haar vader, die haar in 1984 op vakantie stuurt naar de sekte. Hij zelf heeft uitermate goede ervaringen met de liefdevolle en hartverwarmende mensen uit het afgelegen plaatsje. Anna krijgt als zij eenmaal bij de sekte is een hele andere kant te zien. Ze trouwt met de zoon van de sekteleider en krijgt daar in een periode van ongeveer 10 jaar 7 kinderen. Zij en haar kinderen worden regelmatig mishandeld en de kinderen zelfs misbruikt. Enige tijd geleden weet ze te ontsnappen uit de sekte en ze doet nu haar verhaal in het programma Profiel. Behalve Anna’s kant van het verhaal zien we ook de sekte, de sekteleider, Anna’s ex-man en de andere zoon van de sekteleider.
